COURSE BADGES

Listed below are each of the 10 technology badges I earned which will assist me in my future classroom. Each badge was used to strengthen my technology skills and many were used in my online lesson plan. Each title contains a link to the activity I created, explains how it is helpful, and how I used it or plan to use it. Every badge contributed to my professional development and has allowed me to expand my horizons when it comes to lesson plan making, networking, and overall becoming a greater educator.

Google Jamboard allows students to collaborate while learning from each other. Educators can use it to gauge students' understanding and engagement with a topic. For this badge, I created a Jamboard that aimed to see students' background knowledge on implicit and explicit information.

Strengths

I came into the course not knowing much about technology, but I was motivated to learn as much as possible. In the beginning, I was skilled in only a few general technology skills, mostly Google applications. Now, I am skilled somewhat in every skill area and have improved much. My current strengths are in the general technology area along with the designer area. I also have growing skills in the citizen section.
